خوليو ايگلسياس (Julio Iglesias) محبوب ترين خواننده لاتين در سالهاي 70 و 80 بوده ، شيوه ملايم و رمانتيک خوليو در خواندن ترانه هاي عاشقانه طوري بود که در سراسر جهان و در فرهنگها و زبانهاي مختلف طرفداران بي شماري پيدا کرد. او در ابتدا براي تحصيل در رشته حقوق و در نهايت وکالت برنامه ريزي کرده بود و در حين تحصيل ، در تيم فوتبال مادريد در سمت دروازه باني حضور داشت. اما به دنبال يک حادثه اتوموبيل در اواسط دهه 60 مجبور به ترک کار ورزش حرفه اي شد. پزشکان وي اعتقاد داشتند که خوليو ديگر قادر به راه رفتن نخواهد بود و خوليو در دوراني که به کندي بهبود مي يافت، براي کم کردن حالت گرفتگي عضلات دستش نواختن گيتار را آغاز کرد و کم کم به سرودن شعر پرداخت. اما قبل از اينکه به طور جدي به موسيقي بپردازد تحصيلات خود را در دانشگاه کمبريج به پايان رساند. در 1968 او يکي از شرکت کنندگان فستيوال موسيقي اسپانيايي در بنيدورم (Benidorm) بود و ترانه اي ساخته خودش، به نام La Vida Sigue Igual را اجرا کرد. خوليو در اين مسابقه برنده جايزه اول شد که به امضاي قراردادي با شرکت مستقل ضبط صفحه Discos Columbia منجر شد.در طي دهه هفتاد، او تورهايي در اروپا و آمريکاي لاتين برگزار کرد و با اجراي ترانه هايي چون Manuela هواداران بي شماري پيدا کرد. در پايان دهه، خوليو به قدري محبوب شده بود که شبکه جهاني CBS به دنبال بستن قراردادي با او دست به هر کاري ميزد. او در سال 1987 با اين شرکت قراردادي امضا کرد و کار ضبط صفحه را با ترانه هايي نه تنها به زبان اسپانيايي بلکه به ايتاليايي و فرانسه، آغاز کرد. با رسيدن دهه 80 خوليو ايگلسياس با تمرکز بر اجراي ترانه هايي به زبان انگليسي بازار صفحه آمريکا و انگلستان را هدف گرفت. کوششهاي او در سال 81 ثمر داد و بازخواني او از ترانه Begin the Beguine به مقام اول فهرست بهترين ها رسيد. پيامد موفقيت اين ترانه ضبط آلبومي از مجموعه ترانه هايي به زبانهاي مختلف بود به نام "خوليو" که در آمريکا و انگلستان با استقبال عالي روبرو شد. خوليو ايگلسياس آهنگ هاي شنيدني زيادي داري ولي هيچ کدومش براي من شنيدني تر از اين ترانه اش نيست ، شايد بخاطر حس نوستالژيکي است که اين ترانه در من ايجاد ميکنه! آهنگ Shape Of My Heart فکر کنم اون قدر معروف باشه که همتون شنيده باشيد ،  استينگ رو دوست دارم ، استينگ از اون خواننده ها است که صداش يه طنين خاص و منحصر به فرد داره  و البته غير از صداي خوب يکي از خوش تيپ ترين خواننده هاي حال حاضرهم به حساب مياد ! اين آهنگ رو اولين بار موقع تماشاي فيلم لئون حرفه اي شنيدم ، انگار که ساخته شده واسه اين فيلم  بس که قشنگ ميشينه رو صحنه ها ، ياد ناتالي پورتمن کوچولو بخير، انگار همين ديروز بود داشتم اين فيلم رو ميديدم ، چه زود بزرگ شد !

اين آهنگ رو اولين بار سال ها پيش موقع پلي استيشن وقتي بازي جيمز باند رو به آخر رسوندم شنيدم ، ترانه معروف فيلم جيمز باند اون وقت ها برام شنيدني بود اما الان که گوش ميدم چندان جذابيتي نداره ، از اون آهنگها است که تاريخ مصرف داره ، به هر حال چون يکي از آهنگ هاي خاطره انگيز و محبوب گذشتم بود گذاشتمش تو ليست ، فقط اگه خيلي احساساتي هستيد اين آهنگ رو به هيچ وجه دانلود نکنيد ، بسيار ديده شدن افرادي که بعد شنيدن اين ترانه دست به خودکشي زدن!
